About Gospelica

Gospelica is a real-time feed of people talking about God and religion on Twitter.

The purpose of Gospeli.ca is identify Twitter users who write regularly on religious and spiritual themes. Visitors to Gospeli.ca with an interest in religious and spiritual discussion could then use the ratings lists and the quality of people's tweets to decide which tweeter might be worth following at Twitter.

Gospeli.ca operates on three levels:

  • Collecting a constant stream of content from Twitter;
  • Aggregating a dynamic, live count of the number of times chosen keywords appear on Twitter
  • Compiling a chart of Twitter users who most often tweet on religious themes, according to the number of times they appear on the Gospeli.ca website.
